I quite confident that the crack will not reappear for a long while if at all. This Toupret flexible filler seems to do what it says; it is sturdy and flexible. So I prepared the crack by removing some of the paint and crumbles. We had the builders come back multiple times to address this but I have always suspect they used cheap and plain material to cover it up temporarily.
. Then applied tiny bits of the filler - you got to be careful not to put on thick layers because of the slightly thick, rubbery structure of the files fit is hard to sandpaper afterward.
If anything, I as always one rate past few decades I have always been frustrated with their result and way of working - I might be too demanding and precise when it comes to painting. The filler can be plastered or painted over quite easily. It starts to harden instantly so I found that removed excess filer on you blade should not be uses again, unless its for deep gaps. I tried to once and for all prepaid a reappearing gypsum board crack on a diagonal ceiling between two Veluxes.
But this Toupret filler is unmissable with the preparation work, that in my experience is alway the most time-consuming and essential part. This stuff seems to work and I will use it for some other wall cracks around the house. Given how prices of professional house painters have soared I decided to do some indoor paint jobs myself. I knew Toupret has a fantastic, useful range of products as was suggested to me by various of our workmen over time.
