I wanted to teach my children how to count, add and subtract currency, and take/give correct currency. My 6 and 4 year old boys loved this cash register. It’s made of thicker plastic and holds up well with two rough boys banging on the buttons. The microphone works nice.

No putting mouth on the mic itself! It’s like the price goes up or it’s on sale. However, kids have to put their mouth really close to it (almost on it) to hear themselves talk through it. The cash register works well.

I purchased it to go along with the Best Choice Products Pretend Play Grocery Store that I also purchased on Amazon for Christmas. The drawers to hold the cash isn’t really big so you can only put a little stack of cash and a few coins without getting it stuck.

Its makes us laugh to hear different prices for the same item each time it’s scanned. Clean up on aisle 7! The cash register was delivered quickly and packaged well to avoid any damages. The cash register was a decent price for all the features compared to other ones that I found on Amazon as well as other sites.

Just put your hand around the top of the mic leaving it open just enough to see the tip of the mic about a quarter inch or so down, then put mouth right on that hand to talk. We put the bar codes on random small items for our “store”. This little register is super cute!

Received today Item appeared to have been used as it was switched on and making noises ,its a lovely item but the box is torn and bashed ,I would keep it and accept a partial refund as I want it for tomorrow for my Grandaughter's Birthday but wasn't given the option so now I have to wait till Tuesday for a replacement and return this one . There is a little key that comes with it too lock the drawer too.
